seppe indinge
electronics, composer
seppe indigne (2004) is a passionate computer musician who, from a young age, became inspired by the role of technology within music. He took his first steps into electronic music by producing hip-hop projects with friends—an activity that rapidly evolved into experimenting with sound design and creating conceptual musical compositions.
In 2021, he began his studies in ‘Music & Technology’ at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he has since graduated with distinction. He is part of the first generation of formally trained computer musicians under the guidance of Benjamin Van Esser and Roel Das. This program sparked a deep interest in the contemporary music world, leading Seppe to specialize in creating multimedia music projects using digital audio workstations such as Ableton Live and Max/MSP.
In addition to gaining experience as a sound engineer in both live and studio environments, Seppe has worked as a composer, live performer, and teacher. In 2024, he commenced his Master’s degree in ‘Live Electronics,’ focusing on his further development as a performing musician.
His repertoire as a performer consists primarily of original works, alongside pieces by major pioneers and composers of the electronic music world, such as Kaija Saariaho, Benjamin Van Esser, Heinz Holliger, and Karlheinz Stockhausen. He has also contributed to new multidisciplinary projects.
Currently, Seppe is researching live applications of instrument design within computermusic, co-creating new repertoire for modern chamber music and composing for multimedia projects.
